Instagram Story Downloader

Download Instagram Stories Online

ICANDL saves photos and videos from public Instagram Stories while the Story is still available. Copy its link, paste it above and tap Download. You do not need to enter your Instagram login.

Open the Story in Instagram and look for Copy link in the share menu or the three-dot menu. Copy the link to the Story itself, rather than the account profile. The Instagram Story download guide covers the steps for photos and videos.

For a video Story, choose "Download Video + Audio" to keep its sound or "Download Video Only" for a silent copy. A photo Story has a "Download Original Photo" button. An image download contains the picture alone.

Your browser chooses where to save the file. On iPhone, use Files to open a downloaded video, then Share and Save Video to put it in Photos. See where downloaded files go if you cannot find it.

A Reel uses a different post link from a Story. If you want a Reel that remains on the creator's profile, open the Instagram Reels downloader with that Reel's link.

What an Instagram Story link can save

An expired or removed Story may no longer be available from its link. Save it while it is still public; the downloader cannot recover a Story that Instagram no longer provides.

• Save a public Story photo as an image.
• Keep a video Story with its available soundtrack.
• Choose audio only when the Story contains video and sound.
• Copy a separate link for each Story you want to save.
• Private-account Stories are outside this tool's access.
