To download Instagram videos, Reels or audio MP3 files, copy the public post's link into ICANDL and choose the format you need. The downloader runs in your browser without an app, an extension or an Instagram login.

What you need before starting

Use the link of a public video post or Reel. ICANDL cannot read private accounts, deleted posts or a profile link that does not point to a post. You can use a browser on your phone or computer.

Copy the Instagram post link

Open the video or Reel in Instagram, tap the Share icon and choose Copy link. On a computer, open the post on its own page and copy the address bar. If you cannot find the option, follow the guide to copying a video link.

Download Instagram videos and Reels

Open the Instagram downloader in your browser.
Paste the post link into the box and tap Download.
When the result appears, choose "Download Video + Audio" to save the video with its sound.
Confirm the browser download if prompted.

For Reels, the Instagram Reels downloader uses the same steps. "Download Video Only" saves a muted copy when you want to work on the picture separately.

How to download Instagram audio as MP3 only

Paste the same video link and choose "Download Audio Only (MP3)" on the result card. The MP3 contains the soundtrack of that clip, including speech or effects mixed with the music. It does not give you the complete song when the Reel uses only an excerpt.

Common issues and how to fix them

Link not working: copy the link from the video itself and check that the post is still public.
No audio or a silent file: check the sound in the original post and make sure you did not choose "Download Video Only". The Instagram sound troubleshooting guide covers the checks.
Download button not responding: refresh the page or try another browser.

The browser chooses where to save the file. If it is missing from your gallery, use the download-location guide for iPhone and Android to find it.

Before sharing a saved clip

Ask the creator for permission before reposting their video or reusing its audio. A download gives you a file; it does not give you the creator's permission to publish it elsewhere.
