This page is for when you want what you hear in a Reel and nothing else: a song clip, a dialogue, a voice note, a sound effect. Paste the link, tap Download and pick "Download Audio Only". The browser saves an MP3 that plays anywhere, from your phone's music player to a video editor.

The downloader accepts links to Reels, video posts and videos inside carousel posts. If a post has several videos, each one gets its own set of buttons.

What you get

• "Download Audio Only" saves the soundtrack as an MP3.
• "Download Video + Audio" saves the original video if you change your mind.
• "Download Video Only" saves the video with the sound removed, for editing.

The audio is the Reel's own soundtrack. It has the same length as the clip and includes any talking or effects the creator added over the music. Instagram's "Save audio" button only keeps the sound inside the app; this gives you a real file.

Works on phone and computer

There is nothing to install. On Android the MP3 goes to your Downloads folder. On iPhone, Safari asks where to save it, and the Files app keeps it easy to find. On a computer, the file lands in your usual download folder.

Public posts only

The downloader can read public posts only. It does not host or store the files it processes. Most music in Reels is copyrighted, so keep downloads for personal use unless you have permission to reuse them.
