To download Twitter (X) videos, copy the public post's link into ICANDL and choose "Download Video + Audio". A 4K file is possible only when that resolution is available for the post. Downloading cannot restore detail missing from a lower-resolution video.

Understanding Twitter video quality

X can serve a video at different resolutions, and the available download depends on the version it provides. Compression may already have reduced the detail in the original upload.

ICANDL's result card saves the available video through "Download Video + Audio". It does not have a separate 4K selector. If X only provides a lower-resolution version, the download stays at that resolution.

Copy the tweet link

Open the post containing the video, tap the Share icon and choose Copy link. On a computer, click the post's timestamp to open its page, then copy the address bar. Both x.com and twitter.com links work. The video-link guide shows the steps.

If the video is inside a quoted post or a reply, open that post and copy its own link. A link to the profile or the surrounding conversation may not point to the video you want.

Download the Twitter video

Choose "Download Video + Audio" on the result card.
Save the MP4 through the browser.

If no video appears, check that the post contains a video hosted on X, rather than a link to another website. ICANDL cannot read protected accounts or deleted posts.
